CSA AGREEMENT
For Olympic Farms
Please read this agreement fully before joining our CSA. We look forward to bringing you the most beautiful blooms this year!
What is a CSA?
There are a lot of names that describe this service: flower share, flower subscription, bouquet CSA, bouquet of the month club, but the idea is the basically the same! It’s a model adapted from the produce CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program and asks customers to pay in advance to help the farm plan and pay for annual farming expenses and products. It’s an up-front investment in our flower harvest for the season.
The CSA motto:
You share the risk and reap the reward!
We work with Mother Nature:
In most months (and during a typical season), flowers are bountiful and overflowing! With our CSA program, we are able to share that abundance with you – oversized bouquets! During extreme weather patterns or unforeseen weather events, however, bouquets may be leaner. Over the season, it usually all evens out. We love our CSA members and prioritize the farm’s best flowers for you!
In the very unlikely event of a total crop failure (tornados, major hailstorms, flooding, and other disasters) we may not have many flowers for you. In this case, depending on the circumstances, we may source blooms from other local farms, double-up bouquets, push the pick-up date, or offer partial refunds, if possible.
Email:
Please make sure you have provided your email when purchasing our CSA. Email is our primary way of contacting you throughout the season. To ensure you receive our emails, please add info@olympicfarms.com to your contact/safe list. We cannot be responsible for emails that are filtered out as spam.
Pick-up Policy:
Please set reminders/alarms on your calendar or phone for each of the pick-up dates, once you have selected and paid for your subscription! We cannot emphasize this enough. We cannot hold blooms or reach out to individuals to remind them of pick-up day. Any leftovers at the end of the day (past the pick-up window) will be donated to the community (local schools, clinics, libraries, and nursing homes). You are always welcome to send a friend or family member to come to the farm and pick up your flowers.
Please Note: Delivery add-ons are for all dates in the subscription, for each subscription. Deliveries cannot be added once you’ve purchased and paid for your subscription and they are not refundable for any reason.
Refund Policy:
Our CSA flowers are planned months in advance. We are not able to accommodate date changes or refunds for any reason, including if you move away. You can, however, transfer your subscription to a friend. Please let us know their email address so they can receive our newsletters, updates, and reminders - info@olympicfarms.com
Address Changes for Deliveries:
We can accommodate a one-time address change within our deliverable zip codes. To change your address, you must notify us by 11:59pm on the Wednesday before your scheduled delivery. Please arrange for on-farm pick-up if you miss this deadline.
Date Changes:
In the event of extreme cold or hot weather, we may delay or postpone delivery. We will communicate any changes via email if this happens.
Deliveries:
Please note where we should leave your flowers if you are not home at the time of delivery. We suggest a spot out of direct sun and/or away from hot and reflective surfaces. Bouquets are delivered in a damp paper towel and plastic wrap.
Thank you for your support!!!
